Interventions

In my art practice, I intervene in familiar imagery, objects and spaces.

Rather than resist the absurdities of our world, I embrace them, letting that absurdity shape and inform my work

My art uses levity to create space for resilience and resistance in a world that often feels chaotic and overwhelming

What began as my personal response to life within late-stage capitalism has become a rebellion against our growing collective isolation, and a reclamation of materials that harm our environments and our minds.

New Condo City

New Condo City was an interactive sculptural project I created out of actual condo ads.

The dystopian condo landscape featured condo trees, condos you could open like big pop-up books…

…and little condos you could sit inside (that aren't too far off from the tiny condos that are actually being built these days)

New Condo City was part of the the Geary Art Crawl and on display at the 918 Bathurst Centre in November, 2021.
