Abandoned power plants are daunting. They are marvelous expanses of turbines and machinery that feel like post-apocalyptic playgrounds and look like they came out of science-fiction films. In fact, this one sort of did. It's been seen is such films as 12 Monkeys and Transformers. Before it was graced by the likes of Brad Pitt and Shia Labeouf it was used to create power for the State of Pennsylvania.
