Price breakdown:
I charge between $25 and $80 a square foot depending on the medium and the level of detail required, with a minimum square footage of 25 square feet (5’x5’)*.
The minimum square footage is to ensure that I can cover my basic essentials like the cost of new supplies and transportation. This is negotiable if you want something very small and simple.
There is an upfront $200 non-refundable sketch fee that includes up to two initial sketches and up to two sketch amendments. After that it’s $75 for every additional amendment. This fee exists so that you don’t lose a big mural deposit if you decide you don’t want my services after all. It will be waived if you trust me to do something kickass and don’t need or want to approve of a design.

A 50% deposit is due 2 weeks prior to painting. The rest of the balance will be due by my last day of painting.
There is a $200 patch and prime fee for walls that require significant prep work.
Other potential additional costs include travel expenses if you’re outside of Toronto, liability insurance if the mural will be painted on public property, adverse conditions of the wall surface, and equipment rental (like an electronic lift)(which I am licensed to operate).
